As a musician, Roberto Lucanero presents himself as folk singer, accordionist and diatonic accordion player. His repertoire usually consists of traditional songs of the Marche, traditional dances (saltarello and castellana), and dance songs, his own original compositions to listen or dance to, arrangements of Italian songs and songs that belong to the national folk song repertoire. For dance festivals and on request, Lucanero can perform international traditional dance music taken from the repertoires of the countries he has visited personally including France, Scotland, England, Ireland, Basque, Portugal and Canada.
